Abandoned Trolley Car

Whether I walk the quiet streets of Brooklyn or the observe the financial bustle of Downtown Manhattan, I love the feeling of my shoes clopping along the original stone paving. There is something anachronistic about walking along there, particularly in Brooklyn where disused trolley tracks spin across parts of the borough. It feels as though I am in the past.
Though trolleys do not run in New York City anymore, some of their remnants still remain. Not too far from the Red Hook Grain Terminal lies a sleeping beauty... an old monster shell of a trolley car, decaying silently and without protest as the rain and wind wash over it.
